What is the difference between porcelain and ceramic tea sets?
Porcelain is denser, smoother, and provides a cleaner taste. Ceramic retains heat better and is ideal for fuller-bodied teas like oolong or black tea.
Why is my Ruyao glaze developing patterns?
The cracking pattern (called “crazing”) is a natural characteristic of Ruyao. It becomes more beautiful with use.
Can your teaware be used with boiling water?
Yes, all teaware is tested for thermal shock resistance, unless specified otherwise.
Why does my new teapot smell?
A slight clay smell is normal. Rinse with hot water or brew cheap tea once to remove it.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, orders can be canceled before shipment. Once shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
